We are so pleased to announce that we will be have now reopened. Since the government gave our industry the all clear to open we have been putting together new risk assessments and cleaning regimes to ensure we fully comply with current legislation, making the health and safety of our members and our team our priority.

You will see a few changes at the club to comply with the above.

We have to limit numbers to ensure we can maintain social distancing. The gym upstairs has now been split into two separate areas with some of the CV equipment now in the studio. Any classes that we will be putting on will be taking place in the hotel. Details of these will be published next week. The pool will be opening at a slightly later date.

You must come changed in your gym kit as use of changing facilities is very limited. Personal belongings will not be permitted in the gym areas such as mobile phones, coats/jackets, personal towels. Everyone will be given their own cleaning bottle upon arrival to take round with them and machines must be cleaned after use using the blue roll provided. We will also be operating a one-way system with a give way scenario on the staircase. We will have a team member upstairs at all times to ensure this is adhered to and offer guidance where needed.

Booking

 We now ask that everyone attending the club calls us to book an available time slot. You can do this up to six days in advance by calling 01748 828618. Bookings will be for 1 hour only to allow as many people as possible to attend but no more than 18 in any hour due to guidelines on allowable space. Since opening we have found some parts of the day when we are pretty quiet so we can take last minute bookings most days at present.

The use of the facility will be for members only initially along with hotel guests. Once we are able to see how the new system works out we may then be able to open this up to guest passes and pay as you go.

Memberships

 Unless you have cancelled your membership we will start taking direct debit payments again from the beginning of August. Annual memberships will resume from Saturday 25th July.

For on-site payments we are encouraging contactless whenever possible.

Opening Hours

These have been changed for now but we do hope to increase these as restrictions are lifted.
Monday - Friday 06:30 - 20:00 last entry/booking 19:00
Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 17:00 last entry/booking 16:00

Health Checks

Although we will not be undertaking any temperature checks upon arrival we do ask that everyone observes the government guidelines with regard to COVID 19.

If you have any of the symptoms below you must not attend the club:
-High temperature
-new continuous dry cough
-loss of taste and/or smell

We will be operating the track and trace system as per government guidelines, so again if you have been in contact with anyone who shows signs of the virus please do not attend. You will also be contacted if anyone who has attended here has been diagnosed with the virus so that you can then self-isolate.
